What we do

Our mission at Helpd is to connect great carers to discerning clients via our online marketplace, helpd.co.uk.     At Helpd we recognise that carers are as important as clients.   

We find, interview and scenario test carers before we help them to create profiles on our website.   We only accept the very best.   Carers (or Helpers as we call them) are self empoyed, so are free to choose their own hourly rate as well as what jobs they accept, who they work with, where they work and when they work.  Helpers are responsible for cultivating and managing their own professional relationships with their clients, so when they do a great job, receive personal recommendations and positive reviews from their clients.  This results in more work and better rates of pay for Helpers.   When a client finds and hires a Helper via the website, the client pays their payment into a holding account and at the end of the week, when the job has been done we release the funds to the Helper.   Helpers keep the vast majority of what clients pay which makes the Helper and the client happy.  In this way, the Helper doesn't need to worry about whether they will be paid or not.  Helpers get the benefit of being self employed such as greater flexibility and tax incentives.   For example, being able to pay travel expenses, equipment costs and phone costs out of pre tax income is a clear advantage over being classed as an employee.   Please get in touch for more information.   Apply to be a Helper directly to the registration page on the Helpd Ltd website.
