Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Branch Operations Manager for a niche sector Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area. Exciting role available to join the Management team for this Specialist Freight Forwarder providing customised event transport solutions to clients in the Live Touring, Theatre, Film, TV and Sports sectors. Role will be responsible for organizational effectiveness within the operations department by providing leadership, training and being the main point of contact for daily activities in addition to larger scale projects and workflow planning. This individual will also contribute to future project strategies, and champion and implement our policies and standard operating procedures. Main duties:- Follow, champion and lead by example on all Company Standard Operating Procedures. Support our business objectives and implement any changes within the operations team to align with current goals and company strategy. Conduct daily ops meetings to discuss that days jobs and escalate any concerns. Take a very proactive approach to the operational workflow and actively communicate with staff to support and assist them. By monitoring the Ops inbox, make sure all jobs are being picked up and delegate work to make sure there’s a fair split amongst the team with quotes and live jobs. Assist in the preparation of departmental budgets to support operational growth. Perform regular reviews with operations team and maintain communications between UK &amp; US offices. Identify any operational training needs and have regular dialogue with HR to implement training, mentoring and qualifications. Actively manage the monthly billing by the ops tea. Assist the finance team with billing queries. Drive initiatives in the operations team to improve efficiencies and contribute to long term operational excellence. Essential Skills and Experience:- A sound knowledge and understanding of multi-model shipments. Previous experience managing a team at a similar level. Experience with departmental strategy and performance management. Knowledge of UK Customs procedures and regulations. Marketing &amp; Sales oriented with commercial aptitude and business development. CUSTOMS AND COMPLIANCE CLERK

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Day Shift AOG Supervisor for a fast growing Freight Forwarder. The position is based in the Colnbrook area. Day Shift 4 on 4 off AOG Supervisor

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Cargo Sales Agent. The company are a well-established Airline GSA based in the Heathrow area. Job Role:- To provide best in class customer experience to our forwarding and airline customers, in order to maximise revenue opportunities &amp; grow market share. To generate revenue from a portfolio of freight forwarder customers by maintaining a call plan in order to identify opportunity &amp; grow market share for our Airlines. Handling correspondence received into the Sales e-mail inbox and chasing all quotes to gain sale or close enquiries. Creating and distributing sales related documents. Contacting customers to generate sales for light flights, passes sales leads to external sales as necessary and feeds back with quotes within departments agreed time frames. Records all tele-sales communication in sales reports and stores on the shared drive. Keeps the database up to date with accurate contact, customer and contact details. Dealing with e-mails received into the Sales Mailbox, and where required offering competitive pricing in line with customer requirements &amp; in line with airline’s approval. Ensures all responses are sent from sales inbox and accurate records of quotes logged in our quoting tool. Upsells in line with our RM processes to maximise revenue and provide sales with all relevant information and correct rate class chosen in line with company procedures to ensure no revenue leakage. Chases pending quotes in order to improve conversion rate, offering a counter rate if need be in order to win the business. Running &amp; manipulating CASS Statistics from inhouse system to target specific business at either an airline or a flight level. Also using data from the in-house system to provide reporting/statistics. Assists with ensuring we provide accurate &amp; comprehensive reporting within agreed deadline with the Airlines we represent, ensuring full detail is given by collating from various sources. Ensuring Contract rate spreadsheet is updated as well as Cargospot as &amp; when new rates are agreed/ amended/deleted. Using the spreadsheet to drive contract rate reviews within the team. Also to ensure they are distributed to the customer &amp; internally. Providing support when tenders for new Airlines are received, including market intelligence data, &amp; preparing presentations/submissions. Providing support when tenders from our customers are received, including customer intelligence data, rate/PB utilisation analysis. Using internal data to provide competitive pricing and accurate information to the customer, in line with Airlines approval. Without fail, ensures we are operating within all legal requirements pertaining to UK law, DFT and EU commission requirements. Dealing with Reservation calls as &amp; when required (during periods where call volumes are high/ Reservations meetings).
