Youth Pathways Worker - BridgendPay Rate: Up to £20 per hourFull-time and Part-time Roles Available | Flexible Shifts Bridgend is recruiting a dedicated Youth Pathways Worker to support young people aged 16-24 who are not currently in education, employment, or training, or who are seeking to progress within employment. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people within the community. About the Role You will work collaboratively with key employability partners, including Careers Wales and Jobcentre Plus, to deliver intensive one-to-one support. Working across a range of community and outreach settings, you will engage targeted young people and help them build confidence, skills, and opportunities through tailored interventions.Your goal will be to support their progression into education, employment, training, or volunteering. Experience: Experience working with children or young people. Previous experience as a Support Worker Assistant (SWA) or within a 16+ support team. Experience supporting young people furthest from education, employment, or training, particularly those facing poverty or multiple barriers. Qualifications: QCF (NVQ) Level 3 in Youth Work, Education, Social Care, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent competence through experience. Additional Requirements: Full driving licence and access to a vehicle. Willingness to work evenings and weekends in varied settings such as schools, youth centres, family homes, and community spaces.
