We're seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations at their Aylesbury facility.This thriving business sources premium ambient food products from across the UK and Europe, distributing container loads and pallet shipments to customers worldwide, with particular strength in the Middle East market.The RoleAs Warehouse Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse operation, ensuring seamless coordination between inbound goods, storage, and export shipments. You'll manage the warehouse team, maintain operational excellence, and work closely with the sales team to ensure customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and to the highest standards.This is a pivotal role within the business, requiring someone who can balance hands-on warehouse management with strategic planning for growth.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all warehouse operations including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatchManage and develop the warehouse team, ensuring high performance and H&S complianceCoordinate container loading and pallet shipments for international exportMaintain accurate stock control and inventory management systemsEnsure compliance with food safety standards and ambient storage requirementsLiaise with sales team to prioritise orders and manage export deadlinesOptimise warehouse layout and processes for efficiencyManage relationships with hauliers and logistics providersImplement and maintain health & safety protocols and best practicesWhat We're Looking ForEssential:Proven warehouse management experience within FMCG or food distributionStrong understanding of ambient food storage and handling requirementsExperience managing export shipments (containers and pallets)Team leadership and people management skillsKnowledge of inventory management systems and stock controlHealth & Safety qualification (IOSH or equivalent)Forklift licence (Counterbalance essential, Reach desirable)Strong organisational and problem-solving abilitiesDesirable:Experience with international freight and customs documentationFood safety certification (Level 2 minimum)Previous experience in a high-volume export environmentKnowledge of Middle Eastern export requirementsWhat's On OfferCompetitive Package:Salary £35,000 - £45,000 based on experienceAnnual salary reviewsFree on-site parkingWorking Environment:Office-based management role (5 days per week) in AylesburyIntegrated warehouse and office facilityBe part of a growing international businessCollaborative environment working alongside the sales teamPlease reach out if you are interested in hearing more!
