Founded by a highly experienced multi-disciplined recruiter and a fully qualified chartered accountant, and supported by a skilled team of dedicated recruiters, we combine industry expertise with recruitment know-how to successfully connect top talent with leading businesses.We have partnered with an exceptionally fast-growing MGA with international ambitions and experienced team of leaders already in place, with exceptional growth planned for 2026.They are looking to develop their PI Underwriting team, supporting the business with key underwriting requirements, this is a role that will require:·Lead the underwriting of complex PI risks across key professional sectorsCarry out detailed risk assessments, analysing financials, exposure, claims history and sector-specific risk drivers.Make sound, data-driven underwriting decisions within delegated authority; refer higher-value or non-standard risks appropriately.Develop, manage, and optimise a profitable PI portfolio Support the delivery of underwriting plans, forecasts, and performance metricsDevelop strong trading relationships with brokers Ensure accurate information relayed to brokers on appetite, wordings, risk mitigation, and market conditionsMaintain accurate underwriting files, documentation and system entries.You will be part of a fast-growing underwriting team, and the company are looking for someone with:Professional Indemnity underwriting experience, underwriting complex risks, primarily new business focussedStrong technical knowledge, particularly around PI wording, coverages, policy structure and risk factorsAnalytical approach and excellent attention to detailStrong communication skillsExcellent team player, contributing to the growth and development of the division The ability to make and justify decisions, showing flexibility and a proactive outlookIntegrity and strong ethical standardsThe company are on a major growth trajectory with huge potential for growth and personal development/progression.
