Workshop TechnicianWe are recruiting for two Multi-Skilled Workshop Technicians on behalf of our client, a well established family-run business based in Steeple Morden, that specialises in the build of bespoke catering trailers.About the Role:You will be involved in building catering trailers from scratch, working with stainless steel, aluminium, and wood in a well-equipped warehouse/workshop environment. You’ll work as part of a small, experienced team and receive training on specialist machinery where required.Key Responsibilities:Building and fitting catering trailersMIG & TIG welding and fabricationCarpentry and kitchen fittingCutting and folding stainless steel (training provided)Using hand tools and workshop machineryRequirements:Skilled carpenter or commercial body/kitchen fitterWelding and fabrication experienceWoodworking and manufacturing experience desirableMust be able to drive due to remote locationWorking Hours & Benefits:Full-time, permanent positionMonday–Friday with the option to work either 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm42.5 hours per week (30-minute lunch)28 days holidayLarge warehouse/workshop facilitiesA great opportunity to join a stable, hands-on business with long-term work available.
