Dental Services operate from the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, delivering comprehensive oral healthcare in line with UK standards. The modern dental facility includes three fully equipped surgeries, digital radiography (including OPG), and a supportive multidisciplinary team focused on community wellbeing, prevention, and professional excellence. The Role This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Dental Therapist to play a key role in delivering both dental hygiene and dental therapy services within a supportive, forward-thinking dental team. Key Responsibilities: Examine patients, assess oral health, plan treatments, and refer as requiredPrescribe and take dental radiographsAdminister local anaestheticDeliver periodontal care including scaling, debridement, and polishingApply fissure sealants and topical fluoride treatmentsUndertake restorative procedures within GDC scope of practiceExtract primary teeth and place pre-formed crownsSupport orthodontic patients with tailored oral hygiene adviceLead and participate in community oral health promotion initiativesMaintain accurate patient records and manage appointmentsMentor and support trainee dental nursesEnsure compliance with infection control, radiation safety, and clinical governance The Package This role offers an outstanding lifestyle and professional package, supporting both career development and personal wellbeing.
