Supporting ages 11-16.About the role:As an ABA Therapist, you will work closely with students requiring behavioural support, implementing structured interventions to support learning, independence, and positive behaviour outcomes. You will collaborate with the SENCO, teaching staff, and external professionals to ensure consistent and effective support strategies are in place.We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:Deliver Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) interventions tailored to individual student needsSupport students with ASD, SEMH, and other additional needsWork 1:1 and within small groups to promote engagement and progressImplement behaviour support plans and track progressCollaborate with teaching staff and SEN professionalsFoster a safe, structured and supportive learning environmentRequirements -Experience working with children or young people with SENDKnowledge or experience of ABA approaches and behaviour strategiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build positive, professional relationships with students and staffUnderstanding of safeguarding and child protection proceduresThe ideal candidate would have:A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related fieldFormal ABA training or relevant behavioural support experienceExperience working in a school or specialist settingA patient, empathetic and consistent approachA genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needsOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
