Pre Construction Administrator
An Exciting opportunity to be part of a very ambitious and forward-thinking UK manufacturer, selling to the commercial fit-out industry. Our client is recruiting a Pre-Construction Administrator to work within their busy and growing team. The role is a full-time position working onsite from 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday and offers a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, plus excellent company benefits. You will be a vital part of the Preconstruction team contributing to the effective running of the department, positive customer experience and overall business success. Duties include: Managing the quoting process from start to finish.Work closely with the sales and design teams to filter enquiries and clarify specificationReview all technical documentation to ensure our proposal compliesTaking product info from the design team and loading it on to quotesCarrying out drawing take-offs and loading the information on to quotesSupporting with preconstruction and administrative tasks.Support clients on incoming enquiries, follow up on quotes and make sure every client interaction runs smoothly. Requirements Prior experience in estimation, project administration, project coordination or related administrative role preferable in the construction industry.Proven background in creating and managing technical or commercial quotes.Computer literate with MS Office, Excel and CRM systems.Experience liaising with supply chains / suppliers.Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Skills and Attributes Excellent written and verbal skills to liaise with internal teams and external clients confidently.Abe to handle multiple quotes at once, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines.Excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.Effective communicator and a supportive team player.
