The competitive pay for this position ranges from £150 to £210 per day, depending on experience, starting after the Easter half-term, requiring commitment for the remainder of the academic year. This position is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs). Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities: The successful candidate will oversee the progress and achievement of a high-performing Year 1 class. Responsibilities include: * Designing engaging lessons aligned with KS1 National Curriculum standards and supporting the school's creative curriculum * Understanding age-related expectations within KS1, tailoring teaching to maximise individual educational outcomes * Maintaining up-to-date records of student data, analysing to identify areas for re-teaching and ensuring high attainment levels * Establishing positive relationships with all students based on trust and mutual respect * Collaborating effectively with teaching assistants, key stage staff, and others to share advice, resources, and best practices Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualificationStrong references supporting previous experience in KS1, ideally in Year 1A comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explainedRight to work in the UKAll candidates will undergo enhanced DBS checks and provide suitable references.
