A leading UK-based retail organisation is seeking a Tax Accountant to join its finance team based in Watford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business in a hands-on tax role with broad exposure across UK corporate taxes.As Tax Accountant, you will be:Preparing and submitting corporation tax returns, including supporting computations and disclosures.Managing VAT compliance, including preparation and review of VAT returns.Supporting tax reporting for month-end and year-end processes.Assisting with tax audits and responding to information requests.Monitoring changes in tax legislation and assessing the impact on the business.Providing tax support to wider finance and commercial teams as required.Requirements:ACA, ACCA qualified or equivalent.Proven experience in corporation tax and VAT within industry or practice.Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation.Ability to communicate tax matters clearly to non-tax stakeholders.Apply ASAP to be considered for this Tax Accountant role.We are happy to provide application and/or accessibility support, please contact your Marks Sattin or Grafton consultant directly to discuss your needs.
