About the Role: We are seeking a Stock Controller to join our Supply Chain team. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring inventory is accurately controlled, efficiently stored, and readily available to support manufacturing and operational requirements. The successful candidate will manage stock across a diverse product range, much of it small-batch, ensuring accuracy, traceability and strong stock discipline while working closely with internal teams. We produce more than 160 million units per year across 600 different product lines for customers such as Morrisons, Tesco & Asda.What you'll be doingAddress stock issues, ensuring raw materials and finished goods are cycle counted on a weekly basesStock adjustments are escalated to the Stick Team LeaderAbility to count stock accurately, fact finding, fill out detailed reports, interrogate the warehouse management systemBooking of all stock using technology (JBA guns or computers)Rotation of stock to ensure correct stock is used at correct times (FIFO)Receiving and locating deliveries throughout the shift, ensuring stock is rotated so oldest stock used firstPacking products into boxes/trays when received from high care productionUse of ICE printers to select correct orders and print labels that are automatically applied to outer packagingStacking of packaged/trayed orders onto wheels or pallets as they are receivedSetting up of lines ready for production to start - making sure correct packaging/trays/cages are available, correct labels are set up for printingEnsuring tape machines are set up correctly and supplied with tape to keep lines runningFollowing production plans to ensure correct packaging is issued to production for each orderBooking packaging to production on the computer, using Aurora system. Do you have experience of stock control and invoicing with Excel and Sage experience? Are you able to commute to the Birkenhead area? If so, our established and expanding client is keen to hear from you! There is a varied and hands-on full-time position as a Stock Controller, reporting to the Stock Control Manager. The Role: Works orders process - Post production of works order to include issuing of actual stock used and booking of finished goods and allocation of stock. Focus on FIFO and batch rotation.Make changes to componentry on works orders as instructed by the technical departmentUpdate Sales orders to reflect actual stock (Finished goods) produced.Carry out Stock Adjustments were necessary against all materials on works order through to completion.Complete Works OrderProcess Valve cutting Sheets as requiredMonthly perpetual inventory (PI) checks, passed to blending and warehouse then processed and ERP system updatedWorking with Operations, Finance and Purchasing produce necessary paperwork for stock checks. Reconcile stock checksProcess write off documents for authorisation and update Write off log.Free issue stock checks as requested by customerManage invoiced out stock on SAGE.Update SAGE to reflect stock that have underwrites attached.Monthly reconciliation of Propellants and Bulk ChemicalsProduce monthly Usage Reports for Finance ManagerAd-hoc stock checks as requiredManage the reject and out of date warehouses on SAGEAction requests by clients for stock checks and queries. Liaise with warehouse, production, purchasing and finance. Answer all customer queries/emails on a timely basis.Where necessary deputise for the Stock Control Manager in relation to Stock Control activities including logistics SALES INVOICING Where required raise despatch notes on Sage and Commercial invoices.Check all selling prices / supplements on Sales invoices held on Sage.
