Property Paralegal – Commercial Property Oxted Up to £33,000 per annum Monday to Friday – 9am – 5pm An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Paralegal to join a reputable and professional firm based in Oxted. This varied role offers exposure to both commercial and residential property matters, providing the ideal platform to strengthen legal expertise and further develop a career in property law.Working closely with a team of solicitors and lawyers, the successful candidate will provide high-level administrative and legal support, proactively managing files and ensuring matters progress efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Assist with a busy property caseload, supporting both commercial and residential transactions.Manage Land Registry tasks, including obtaining title documents, lodging applications, and handling requisitions and other documentation.Complete post-completion work such as submitting SDLT returns and managing Companies House forms (e.g., MR01, MR04).Draft and complete legal forms, including replies to Commercial Property Standard Enquiries.Liaise effectively with clients, lenders, agents, mortgage brokers, surveyors, and other solicitors to progress transactions.Undertake client onboarding in line with AML compliance requirements.Prepare completion statements, bills, and manage related accounts queries.Handle correspondence, draft legal documents, and manage case files using the firm’s case management systems.Provide excellent client care both over the phone and in person, ensuring a professional and approachable manner.Skills & Experience:Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a property department, ideally with commercial property exposure.Strong understanding of Land Registry processes and property documentation.Confident managing post-completion work and legal forms.Excellent communication and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.Proficient in using case management systems and Microsoft Office.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.A background in residential conveyancing will be considered, though commercial property experience is preferred.For your information*Interested?
