We're looking for a Site Supervisor to join our Wymondham, Norfolk team based in Wymondham. Location: Wymondham, Norfolk – site based 5 days per weekHours: Permanent Fulltime 45 per week (0730 – 1700)We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. Join us as a Site Supervisor where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful and safe delivery of civil engineering projects. You'll be directing multiple teams to execute specialist tasks including footway reconstruction, carriageway resurfacing, drainage improvements, traffic signals and structures repairs. As a Site Supervisor, you'll be working within the Wymondham team, supporting them in delivering highway and construction operations. Your day to day will include: Supervising and coordinating site-based operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, to specification, and within budgetManaging daily site operations to maintain safety for both operatives and the publicPerforming point-of-work risk assessments and ensuring adherence to safe working proceduresConducting regular toolbox talks and briefings with operatives regarding permit conditions and safe digging proceduresProviding guidance, technical support, and training to colleagues whilst ensuring compliance with all safety regulations What are we looking for? Your new companyOperating both in the UK and across the world, they are a leading contractor delivering projects across multiple sectors including; real estate, defence, education, highways, rail and water.Your new roleWorking on a major highways improvement scheme in the Norfolk region, they require a Site Engineer to effectively and professionally monitor and supervise site works including subcontract packages. Delivered in accordance with company procedures, programme requirements and project specifications.Some of the duties involved (but not limited to):Write and/or Review Temporary Works Design Briefs to the acceptance of the TWCReview designs and raise any queries to your Section Engineer.Understand the design specifications and drawings for your section. Challenge where relevant.Contribute to the project 4-week lookahead programme weekly for your works.Work with the Section Engineer and supervisors to manage any clashes with other site worksEnsure accurate quality records are delivered in a progressive manner as construction works are completedEnsure quality records are captured and stored correctly.
