A superb opportunity has arisen for a Showroom Manager to join an acclaimed international contract interior furnishings business in Clerkenwell. The company is well known for their design-led fabrics, wallcoverings and furnishings supplying to the premium hospitality, office, retail and residential markets. This makes a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of a busy showroom acting as the face of the company and to support the outside sales team.Duties will involve:Acting as the company representative within the showroom looking after showroom visitors/clients – educating and consulting them on the company's products, collections and company services.Building relationships with existing and new clients and proactively keeping in touch.Liaising with the external sales team to pass on leads as appropriate, recording all details of client showroom visits, conversations, enquiries and diarising proactive follow up calls accordingly.Dealing with all incoming calls and emails and logging details of calls and email enquiries.Planning and implementing showroom events to build on design industry engagement. (e.g. new collection launches)Looking after showroom merchandising and ensuring displays adhere to company guidelinesManaging all showroom sampling including stock levels.Ensuring the showroom is kept tidy at all times and well maintained.This role suits someone who is either currently working as a showroom manager in an interiors business or who is perhaps an assistant manager or sales executive looking to move into a showroom manager role. Working hours are 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday. As well as a competitive basic salary the company also pay a yearly discretionary bonus, 23 days holiday plus public holidays and contributory pension.
