Site Logistics and Security Coordinator Coalville, Leicestershire Days, 05:00 - 14:00 £33,000 - £35,000 A manufacturer and distribution business in Leicestershire is looking for a Site Logistics and Security Coordinator to manage the safe and efficient operation of its site. The role is central to controlling site access, managing vehicle movements, and coordinating between drivers and internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations. The position is based in the yard office and requires a proactive individual with a strong focus on safety and organisation. Key responsibilities Act as Banksman for all vehicle movements on siteCarry out duties as First Aider and Fire WardenEnsure all visitors, contractors, and drivers report in and are signed in correctlyEnforce Health and Safety and PPE requirementsControl and manage vehicle and pedestrian movements within the yardCoordinate between external drivers and internal loading teamsManage traffic flow and signpost vehicles to designated waiting areasCarry out gate checks for external drivers once trainedAct as site keyholderOperate site security systems including ANPR and CCTVTake responsibility for fuel and general site deliveries, confirming quantities and reporting to the transport teamReceive and manage site consumables, checking quantities and storing correctlyManage returns and general yard stock movementsMinimise unnecessary personnel movement within yard areasCarry out other reasonable duties as required by site management The ideal candidate Experience in a yard, logistics, transport, or site coordination roleStrong understanding of Health and Safety in an industrial or operational environmentConfident communicator with drivers, contractors, and internal teamsComfortable taking responsibility for site safety and securityAble to start work at 5.00am If this role is of interest, please send your most up to date CV and you will be contacted for a confidential discussion.

Purpose of the Role To assist with the smooth running of the shopping centre and to assist with all emergency situations when they occur. This includes providing visible security cover to the Centre, handling enquiries and customer concerns, monitoring CCTV (by suitably trained and licensed staff) and controlling contractors and deliveries to the Centre.
