Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to support both the finance and office administration functions within the business on a temp-to-perm basis.Role OverviewThis is a full-time, office-based role combining bookkeeping responsibilities with general administrative support. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records while also supporting day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth and efficient business processes.Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping DutiesMaintain accurate financial records and ledgersProcess invoices, payments, and supplier statementsReconcile bank accounts on a regular basisManage accounts payable and accounts receivableAssist with payroll preparation and expense trackingSupport month-end and year-end financial reportingEnsure compliance with financial policies and proceduresAdministration DutiesProvide general administrative support to the management teamMaintain organised digital and paper filing systemsManage incoming emails, calls, and general enquiriesSupport document preparation, scanning, and data entryAssist with supplier and client correspondenceEnsure accurate updating of records and databasesSupport office organisation and day-to-day coordination tasksKey RequirementsPrevious experience in bookkeeping and/or office administrationStrong understanding of basic accounting principlesProficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Excellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational and time management skillsAbility to multitask in a busy office environmentGood communication skills for dealing with suppliers, clients, and internal teamsWhat We OfferTemp to permanent opportunityFull-time, stable office-based role (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm)Salary up to £29,000 depending on experienceOpportunity to work within a growing construction businessSupportive and friendly team environmentCareer development opportunitiesLong-term, secure position
