This is a key role within the school office, supporting staff, pupils, and parents and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school.The Role:The School Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative and reception support.Key responsibilities include:Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and external agenciesAnswering phone calls and responding to emails professionallySupporting senior leaders and teaching staff with administrative tasksMaintaining accurate pupil records and data systemsSupporting attendance, admissions, and safeguarding administrationPreparing letters, reports, and school communicationsManaging diaries, meetings, and appointmentsOrdering supplies and maintaining office systemsProviding general administrative support as requiredThe Ideal Candidate:Essential:Previous administrative experienceStrong organisational and time-management skillsGood IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential informationReliable, adaptable, and able to work independentlyDesirable:Experience working in a school or education settingKnowledge of school management systems (SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, etc.)Understanding of safeguarding proceduresAdditional Information:This role may be offered on a term-time-only basisAn enhanced DBS check is required prior to startingTo apply, please submit your CV today or contact Reed Education for further information.
