Sales Account ManagerLocation: Pulborough, West Sussex (Office-based)Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 per annumJob Type: Permanent | Full-timeOverviewWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Pulborough, West Sussex, who are looking to appoint a Sales Account Manager to join their dynamic and friendly sales team.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused sales professional who enjoys building strong relationships, managing accounts, and contributing to business growth. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, driven, and committed to delivering an excellent level of service while achieving and exceeding sales targets.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clientsManage a portfolio of accounts on a day-to-day basisAchieve and exceed individual and team sales targetsIdentify and develop new business opportunities across new, existing, and dormant accountsMaintain accurate sales forecasts and regularly update senior managementUpdate and manage CRM systems, ensuring all opportunities and activities are recorded accuratelyDeliver a high standard of customer service and meet agreed Service Level AgreementsMonitor, achieve, and update key performance indicators (KPIs)Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholdersCommunicate clearly and professionally at all levelsEnsure all account information is handled in line with company procedures, ISO standards, and legislative requirementsSkills & Experience RequiredProven sales experience, ideally within an account management or B2B sales environmentStrong relationship-building skills with the ability to manage new and existing accountsConfident, positive, and determined approach to salesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood attention to detail and strong organisational skillsUnderstanding of basic costing and sales principlesProficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systemsEnjoys working with people and contributing to a team environmentKeen to learn and develop within a growing businessGood timekeeping and reliabilityEssential RequirementsProven sales skillsGCSE Maths and English (Grade A–C or equivalent)Full UK driving licenceBenefitsCompany pension schemeFree on-site parkingHealth and wellbeing programmeThis role is office-based and offers a supportive working environment with opportunities for development and progression.We do receive a significant number of applications.
