As Sales Director, you will be given full responsibility for a multi- disciplinary sales function and in this newly created sales structure, you will build, coach and develop a dynamic sales team to implement through new sales strategies for success. Our client is looking for an experienced senior FMCG sales leader, who can accelerate the growth of revenues for the business and take responsibility for the performance of a company’s sales/ its standing in the marketplace. You will: Develop and implement sales plans and work to generate leads for the business.Have an entrepreneurial mindset and a consultative approach.Experience in leading a highly creative sales is essential.Work alongside Business Directors to maximise opportunities in the UK and international markets.Create and implement commercial plans and strategies to achieve profitable growth.Accelerate sales growth and increase distribution in all routes to market.Drive the international channel to achieve the company profit targets.Develop and implement new customer acquisition strategies.Manage existing client relationships.Lead negotiations with all major customers.Research, analyse, and set price points to maximise sales and maintain margins.Identify opportunities and keep track of competitor activityWork with the marketing team to help develop NPD that expand sales and complement the existing product portfolio.Track, measure and analyse commercial metrics using KPIs.Manage and track expenditures, financial goals, and budgets.Recruit, train, develop and motivate a diverse team and monitoring the performance of the senior sales teams by setting and reviewing goals and identifying any training needs.Establish and manage long-term relationship with all stakeholders including the demonstration of exceptional people management skills The role could be suited to an existing Sales Director, or Sales/ Commercial Controller, with first class negotiation skills and experience of leading a successful team in in FMCG and who is looking for a board level sales role in and £multimillion t/o, market leading business.
