Credit ControllerPermanent Based in Rainham, Essex (hybrid working)£35,000 per annum plus further benefitsRef: TA1800Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Credit Controller to join a growing and stable company in the Rainham area on a permanent contract. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining effective credit control processes for NHS and Local Authority accounts. The role focuses on ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting cash flow while adhering to public sector financial procedures.Your duties will include:Responsible for approx. 500 accounts Chasing outstanding debtors by telephone, email and lettersSend customer statements on a monthly basis Maintaining all notes on customer accountsCash/BACS payment allocation to customer accountsDealing with and resolving customer account queriesStarting legal processes if debts are not paid within an agreed timeProcessing credit card payments Reporting daily cash collections to the Receivable’s ManagerProducing a cash flow forecast Credit risk analysis and credit checksAd hoc duties when requiredKey requirements:Experience of working in a credit control position is essentialExperience of working with NHS or local authority or public sector organisations Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAttention to details in all tasksIf you feel that you would be suitable for this position then please apply with your CV.REFER A FRIEND SCHEME: If you refer a candidate to us and they are placed you will be eligible for a cash reward!Due to the high number of CV’s we receive we are unable to respond to all applications therefore if you have not heard from us within 10 days please assume you are unsuccessful in this instance.
