We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join our People team at Sovereign Network Group (SNG) on a permanent basis. Based from our Basingstoke office, you'll combine office and home working in line with our hybrid working approach. SNG is one of the largest housing associations in England. The Role Reporting into our ER Lead, you'll provide a comprehensive, expert service of advice and guidance to enable the capability of Managers and employees in dealing with all people matters. You'll be: Providing advice, guidance and support to line managers on a range of Employee Relations issues, adopting a coaching style to support the development of organisational capability in managing these issuesA key point of contact for ER issues that arise as a result of any organisational changeEnsuring compliance with legislation, policies and procedures and that they are effectively and consistently applied across the organisationPreparing documentation for Employment Tribunal cases and technical support to relevant stakeholdersSupporting the delivery of people focussed organisational initiatives including activity, such as supporting employee wellbeing and engagement, alignment of systems, policies and practices alongside new ways of working What we're looking for You'll need proven experience of delivering an Employee Relations advisory service in a fast paced, progressive HR environment with strong experience in casework. Ideally, you'll be CIPD qualified or working towards this but it's not essential. We have a fantastic permanent  opportunity as a Safety & Compliance Officer, within our Building Safety Team. The Role You'll support the Safety and Compliance Specialist  and wider Building Safety Compliance Team on all electrical, gas, oil and solid fuel safety matters on behalf of SNG. Using your in depth practical knowledge of risk assessing, you'll mitigate risks through ensuring that high data is maintained and monitored for both contractors and internal delivery teams. Responsibilities include Delivering the right outcome for our customers in a safe and timely wayPromote a positive collaborative culture of building safety complianceTake personal responsibility for escalating any concerns to the appropriate member of the Building Safety Compliance team for consideration and/or investigationAct as a building safety and compliance subject matter expert and help define data requirements, policies and standards, whilst advising in their implementation. Keep up to date with relevant legislation relating to data set reviews and identify implications and recommend subsequent actions. We are looking for someone who has Demonstrable knowledge and experience of electrical and/or gas, oil and solid fuel management in the Housing SectorUp-to-date knowledge of electrical, gas, oil and solid fuel safety legislationExperience of working to deadlines and achieving targets through own work and work driven through teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsQualification - Electrical: Level 3 award in the requirements of electrical installations BS 7671:2008City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent test and inspection AND/OR Gas: City and Guilds certificate in gas service and/or NVQ Level 3 gas service and maintenance.
