They are continuing to invest in their people and I am very pleased to be supporting them in their search for an Operational Risk & Safety Advisor role, which is a newly created role to strengthen their approach to operational risk.The Role:This is a newly created operational risk position, focused on practical risk assessment and advisory support, rather than ownership of management systems or ISO frameworks.Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will:Carry out operational risk assessments across equipment, processes and working practicesReview and improve method statements and critical safety documentationSupport investigations into incidents, near misses or failures, including root cause analysisEngage directly with operational teams to ensure risk controls are understood and appliedThe role involves planned multi-site engagement and offers some great flexibility, with full-time or 3–4 days per week considered.About You:You will be a practical, approachable risk focussed professional with experience in operational or engineering-led environments.You will bring:Strong experience producing and reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of workExposure to investigations and incident reviews across assets and equipmentStrong engagement and communication skillsExperience of workshops or maintenance environments is helpful but not essential — broader operational experience is equally relevantHold a full UK driving license
