Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for supporting end-to-end recruitment administration and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for candidates and hiring managers. The role plays a key part in attracting, screening, and onboarding talent by coordinating recruitment activities and managing all associated administrative tasks in line with company and regulatory requirements.The Resourcing Coordinator is responsible for supporting end-to-end recruitment administration and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for candidates and hiring managers. The role plays a key part in attracting, screening, and onboarding talent by coordinating recruitment activities and managing all associated administrative tasks in line with company and regulatory requirements.Key Activities: Support recruitment campaigns by liaising with hiring managers and the recruitment teamReview and sift CVs against job requirements to shortlist suitable candidatesConduct initial candidate screening (e.g., phone or virtual pre-screen interviews)Coordinate and schedule interviews, including panel availability and logisticsPrepare interview packs and ensure hiring managers are briefedCommunicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedbackManage job requisitions and maintain applicant tracking systemsAdminister offer processes, including drafting offer letters and contractsCoordinate pre-employment checks (e.g., right to work, references, security clearance if required)Handle full onboarding administration for new startersPrepare and issue new starter documentation and ensure completion prior to start dateLiaise with HR, IT, payroll, and line managers to ensure smooth onboardingMaintain accurate employee and candidate records in line with GDPR and company policiesKey Outputs: Shortlisted candidate pipelines aligned with role requirementsEfficiently scheduled and coordinated interview processesTimely and accurate offer letters and onboarding documentationCompleted pre-employment checks and compliance recordsFully onboarded new starters ready for day oneUp-to-date recruitment and onboarding trackersPositive candidate experience and communication standardsAccurate and compliant HR and recruitment recordsTraining & Development expectations:Training on internal recruitment and HR systems (e.g., applicant tracking systems)Understanding of hiring processes within regulated industries (e.g., nuclear sector compliance)Development of interviewing and candidate assessment skillsTraining in employment law basics and GDPR complianceExposure to workforce planning and talent acquisition strategiesContinuous development in HR coordination, recruitment best practices, and stakeholder engagementPerson Specification: Experience in recruitment coordination, HR administration, or resourcing supportProven ability to sift CVs and support candidate screeningStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneouslyExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to coordinate interviews and manage stakeholder schedulesHigh attention to detail, especially with documentation and complianceProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience handling confidential information professionallyDesirable:Experience working within engineering, technical, or regulated industriesKnowledge of onboarding processes and pre-employment checksUnderstanding of employment legislation and recruitment best practicesPersonal Attributes:Proactive and highly organisedStrong interpersonal skills with a candidate-focused approachAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesProfessional, discreet, and reliableTeam-oriented with a flexible approach to workloadBenefits:25 days annual leave per year rising by 1 day for every 2 years worked (max 30 days) + Bank Holidays8% employer pension contribution with employee 1% contribution (salary sacrifice)Individual and family private health careDental insurance for employeesCashplan – Level 2 coverLife assurance (4x salary)Employee assistance programme (EAP)Income ProtectionProfessional Body MembershipTusker Electric car scheme (salary sacrifice)Cycle to Work scheme (salary sacrifice)Babbel – learn a new languageGenerous family leave
