Marketing ManagerSalary: £31,680 per annum, FTE (£27,287 per annum for 32.2 hours average per week)Contract: PermanentWork Pattern: This is an annualised hours contract based on an average of 32.2 hours per week.Location: WWT Washington, NE38About The RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to play a key role in driving visitor growth at Washington Wetland Centre, an urban oasis supporting endangered wildlife and a space providing fun and wellbeing for all.In this exciting role, you’ll lead on the delivery of both year-round and event-specific marketing campaigns, working across a range of channels to attract, engage, and inspire new and returning audiences.You'll be part of a passionate team dedicated to conservation, education, and unforgettable visitor experiences.Create and manage multi channel marketing campaigns in line with your marketing planmanage and deliver the site PR plan whilst maximising media and influencer relationshipslead the site team on design and delivery of our year round events programmemanage and monitor all social media and webpage content for the sitework as part of the site leadership team to provide duty management and operational support.About YouDo you enjoy creating marketing campaigns that inspire people to take action? Can you balance creativity with data-driven decision-making to deliver results? Are you confident building relationships and communicating effectively? If so, we would love to hear from you.You will have:Extensive experience of working in a marketing, business or communications role, in a B2C consumer-facing organisationExperience of developing and delivering a marketing and communications plan, including paid advertisingExperience of digital marketing and social media management (Instagram, Facebook etc.)Meticulous attention to detail and high levels of accuracyAbility to bring passion and enthusiasm to your work, leading the site team in delivering an exceptional visitor experienceExperience within CRM databases and reporting toolsExperience in Microsoft Office, Excel, and OutlookThis is an annualised hours contract based on an average of 32.2 hours per week.
