You will work closely with development teams and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, design and execute test activities, and identify defects early to support high-quality outcomes.Additionally, you support the front line in achieving these tasks, mentor and coach the front line team to improve the range of issues they can address, handle escalated issues, and assist the National Client Solutions Development Team in delivering the best possible service to the firm.ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Ensure solutions are tested thoroughly before release and meet agreed quality standardsSupport testing across the full delivery lifecycle, including functional, regression and user acceptance testingSupport the adoption of new tools, technologies and testing approaches where appropriateLiaising with the Development team and Technical department regarding specificationsPerforming routine inspections to ensure changes meet the criteria of the specificationsSupporting front line support teams by advising of resolving escalated issues as necessaryDocumenting and reporting product defects to internal or external development teamsMaking recommendations for improvementsDevelop user guidance and release notesLeaising with internal internal infrastructure to release updates to the FirmIdentify, log, track and retest defects, working closely with developers to support resolutionAssociated admin tasksTechnical skills, experience & knowledge:Problem solving and solution drivenExcellent attention to detailHigh level of I.T. literacyExcellent communication skills both written and oralAbility to work to deadlines when requiredExcellent organisational and time management skillsMinimum of two years of experience performing quality assuranceKnowledge of relevant regulatory standardsAbility to work efficiently under minimal supervisionKnowledge of quality assurance conceptsKnowledge of agile development principlesWhy choose Crowe?At Crowe we understand that it is often the culture and values of a firm that are most important when looking for a new workplace.Whether you’re working in statutory audit, corporate tax or you’re a marketing or HR specialist, we place our people at the centre of everything that we do; promoting a collaborative, inclusive and friendly culture while remaining passionate about supporting and developing our people as they build their careers.
