Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Supervisor Location: Larbert Office Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent 37.5 Join Our Finance Team at Certas Energy We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our busy finance department in Larbert. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to lead a dedicated team and play a key role in our finance operations. About the Role As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day supervision of our Accounts Payable Clerks, ensuring that supplier invoices are processed efficiently and accurately. You’ll be the go-to escalation point for supplier queries and ensure suppliers are paid promptly through regular weekly payment runs. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in purchase ledger who also has the ability to lead and support others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. What You’ll Be Responsible For Managing and mentoring a team of Accounts Payable ClerksOverseeing the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoicesHandling escalated supplier queries professionally and efficientlyCoordinating weekly payment runs to ensure timely paymentsSupporting process improvements and maintaining strong internal controlsSetting and upholding high standards across the team What We’re Looking For Proven experience in purchase ledger/accounts payable, ideally in a high-volume, high-value environmentStrong leadership and team management abilitiesExcellent numerical and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systemsHigh attention to detail and a methodical approach to workStrong organisational and prioritisation skills – both for yourself and your teamConfident and professional telephone mannerAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Why Join Certas Energy?
