Project Manager - Client Implementation (Asset Owner)Contract Length: 9 monthsLocation: LondonHybrid Working: 3 days per week in the officeRate: Competitive, market-alignedRole OverviewAn experienced Project Manager is required to join a Client Implementation Practice supporting a high-priority initiative within the Asset Owner space. This role focuses on managing the transition of complex client implementation activities onto back-office platforms and contributes to the successful delivery of an in-flight programme.The role is both client-facing and internally focused, working closely with external clients as well as internal technology and operational teams. It requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability and offers exposure across multiple business areas and senior stakeholder groups.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end client implementation and transition activities onto back-office platformsAct as a key interface with external clients throughout the implementation lifecyclePartner with internal technology and operational teams to define, manage, and deliver effective solutionsClearly articulate business requirements and drive delivery through structured project managementBalance multiple priorities within a core programme team while managing individual change requestsParticipate in governance forums and stakeholder committeesBuild strong working relationships across operational teams and senior client stakeholdersKnowledge & ExperienceStrong understanding of the pension and asset owner landscapeBroad knowledge of investment management back-office functions, including:Custody-related transitionsTrade processing and settlementsCash and income processingCorporate actionsData management and valuationsClient reporting and performance attributionExperience working within complex, in-flight programmesComfortable operating across multiple organisational levelsAdaptable, delivery-focused, and confident managing change in a dynamic environmentWhat This Role OffersA 9-month contract within a high-profile client implementation programmeCompetitive, market-aligned contract rateOpportunity to develop a broad operational and programme delivery skillsetPontoon Solutions is an employment consultancy.
