FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the wastewater industry for an experienced Project Manager to strengthen their teamThis role is based in HamptonBenefitsA competitive salary Hybrid Working (Jobs needs dependent) Car/car allowance (Jobs needs dependent) 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (with an additional 5 days available to buy) Contribution Pension scheme Life Assurance Health Insurance Private Medical Insurance And many more benefits including - cycle to work scheme, discounts and savings Hub, Kids Pass etc Project Manager role:You will report directly to the Integrated Programme Lead and be responsible for managing the design, construction, commissioning, and delivery of contractsYour key objective will be to ensure all projects are completed efficiently, in line with specifications, on schedule, and within budgetYou will also be accountable for maintaining the highest standards of health and safety and ensuring strong customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycleProject Manager responsibilities:Ensure the Business Management System (BMS) is implemented at every stage of project delivery, from tender handover through to final completionProtect and enhance the company's reputation by maintaining positive working relationships with joint venture partners and suppliersEnsure sufficient trained personnel are assigned to each project and that they fully understand their individual responsibilitiesPlan projects effectively, including reviewing and approving the Project Execution Plan (PEP), and continuously monitor and control project deliveryOversee the preparation and approval of detailed construction plans and method statements prior to the start of site activitiesEnsure that, upon contract completion, all records outlined in the PEP are finalised and availableReport all site non-conformities promptly and identify associated costsManage all commercial aspects of each project proactively, providing accurate forecasts and cost estimatesDemonstrate detailed working knowledge and practical experience of project management processes from concept through to end-user acceptanceMaintain continuous professional development by engaging with external networks, conferences, and professional associations to stay informed on industry developments and innovationsUndertake any other reasonable duties, training, or hours of work required, consistent with the role's level of responsibilityUnderstand and apply the company's quality, safety, and environmental policies and objectivesStrive to meet and exceed customer expectations, enhancing their overall satisfaction and perception of the companyMaintain a strong practical understanding of all technical disciplines involved in the delivery of water and wastewater design and build projectsProject Manager requirements:Project Management experience in managing multi-disciplinary design and construction projects, ideally within the water industryDegree or equivalent qualification in a construction, commercial, or engineering related disciplineProject Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalentExperience in project deliveryStrategic, operational, technical and management skillsKnowledge of Construction Contracts, ideally NEC and/or IChemE, with ability to negotiate and administerRisk & Opportunity Management experienceWorking knowledge of CDM and construction Health & SafetyIf you are looking for a fantastic Project Manager opportunity and want to work for a leading national contractor with opportunities to progress, then click on the 'apply now' button.Due to the high volume of applications, we receive we are not always able to reply to all applications.
