Warehouse & Production Supervisor Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE)Location: ReadingJob Type: Full-time, Permanent A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse & Production Supervisor to join a successful and growing company based in Reading. This role is ideal for a hands-on, motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and is confident managing small teams while supporting day-to-day warehouse and production workflows. This position requires a proactive leader with at least 2 years of supervisory experience, strong organisational skills, and a positive, hardworking attitude. Key Responsibilities Supervising the daily activities of a team of up to 6 warehouse and production staff, ensuring workloads are managed effectively.Overseeing warehouse, production, and logistics functions to maintain smooth and efficient operations.Supporting staff with training, guidance, and ongoing development to maximise performance and teamwork.Monitoring workflow, allocating tasks, and ensuring production and dispatch deadlines are consistently met.Maintaining high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance across all warehouse and production areas.Ensuring efficient stock control, including overseeing goods in/out, inventory checks, and accurate record-keeping.Troubleshooting issues, improving processes, and escalating operational concerns where appropriate.Communicating effectively with internal teams such as logistics, procurement, and customer service to ensure alignment and problem resolution.Using IT systems for scheduling, reporting, stock management, and general administration tasks (must be IT literate).Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness. Skills & Experience Required Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Supervisor or Team Leader role within warehouse, logistics, or production environments.Proven ability to manage, motivate, and support a team of up to 6 staff.Strong understanding of warehouse and production processes, including stock handling and logistics coordination.Excellent working attitude — reliable, driven, and able to lead by example.IT literate with confident use of systems for planning, reporting, and communication.Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills and comfortable liaising with multiple departments.Good physical fitness and willingness to support hands-on tasks when required.
