In FY25, our shared passion helped us achieve combined revenues of approximately £4bn.Our extensive direct to store (DTS) network, with 17 depots across the UK, allows us to deliver fresh and frozen food both our own and from trusted partners to thousands of stores every day, ensuring consumers enjoy the very best, whenever and wherever they shop.Role PurposeAs Portfolio Manager you will curate a range of products within a portfolio which will deliver Greencore key performance indicators, excellence programmes and customer NPD and EPD plansKey Accountabilities:Respond to customer briefs and market insight for the portfolio to make prioritisation decisions for the product rangePrepare all Project Master Document that are Greencore Portfolio led Projects and support the Customer Teams prepare Project Master Document for all Customer led ProjectsPrepare & represent documentation and pre work required for our Weekly ITP and Monthly IBP meetings to ensure accurate information is used to make Portfolio decisionsRigorously apply stage and gate process timelines and measures for all products in development to ensure we are meeting the critical path and any risks are escalated and that key performance indicators are deliveredTake responsibility for monitoring all products classed as exceptions to timeframes or key performance indicators through subsequent stages and gate approvals to ensure that redesigns and/or pricing changes are implementedCoordinate and work closely with the Portfolio Analyst to complete post launch reviews for all products within the range to validate that financial, operational and sales key performance indicators have been achieved and to capture lessons learnt for future product designs and launches - ranking them into bronze, silver and goldConstantly review the performance of the range and take action to remove or change unproductive or margin dilutive products using the Rev Management team and Qlik to inform decision makingWhat We're Looking For:Demonstrates strong commercial acumenHighly numerate with a proven track record in data-driven environmentsSkilled in building product portfolios, either as a customer or supplierDeep understanding of manufacturing capabilities, food development processes, and commercial prioritiesProficient in category management principles and strategiesSignificant experience in a commercial role, ideally within the FMCG sectorExceptional influencing skills with a proven ability to manage stakeholders effectivelyResilient and adept at making tough prioritisation decisionsAt Greencore we put our people at the core. Since launching in 2018, they have established a strong reputation within the specialist lending market for their flexible, common-sense approach to underwriting and their ability to deliver funding solutions at speed.The business is led by experienced property finance professionals and benefits from a streamlined structure, enabling efficient decision making and a highly collaborative working environment. They work closely with property investors and developers across a range of transactions, including refurbishment projects, ground up developments, and time sensitive acquisitions.With ambitions to significantly grow their loan book and expand their presence in the market, they are investing in their team and infrastructure, creating an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain broad, hands-on exposure within a scaling lender.Role OverviewThis is a broad and hands on Portfolio Manager role, offering exposure across the full lifecycle of property lending. You will support deal origination, underwriting, execution, and ongoing loan management, working closely with senior stakeholders and external partners to deliver successful lending outcomes.You will be responsible for identifying and assessing new lending opportunities through a variety of channels, including planning portals, online research, and industry networks. From there, you will support development appraisals, undertake detailed credit analysis, and assist in structuring lending proposals for approval.Once terms are agreed, you will play a key role in progressing transactions through to completion, coordinating with solicitors, valuers, brokers, and monitoring surveyors to ensure deals are executed efficiently.Post completion, you will take ownership of managing active loans, monitoring financial performance, build progress, and key risk indicators.
