Why this role is perfect for you This is your opportunity to: Gain hands-on classroom experienceDevelop real teaching skillsBuild strong relationships with studentsProgress towards a future teaching qualificationThrive in a supportive, ambitious school community Your Key Responsibilities Classroom Delivery & Student Support Supervise pupils undertaking work set in line with Academy policy, under the guidance of teaching and senior staff.Communicate work set by the teacher to students and respond to questions on processes and expectations.Provide clear feedback to students on progress and achievements.Encourage students to interact, collaborate and engage fully in learning activities.Support students by responding to individual needs and promoting inclusion for all learners.Undertake class, group or individual activities as directed by the teacher, offering constructive support and encouraging independence. Monitoring, Behaviour & Progress Monitor and evaluate students’ responses to learning through observation, recording and feedback.Manage behaviour positively to create a focused and constructive learning environment.Address conflict or incidents promptly in line with Academy behaviour policies.Report student behaviour and any issues using the Academy’s referral process.Ensure all completed work is returned to the relevant teacher along with feedback from the covered lesson. ICT & Learning Resources Make effective use of ICT to support learning activities and develop students’ confidence and independent use.Assist with classroom organisation, maintenance and resource preparation to help create a purposeful and attractive learning environment. What we’re looking for Level 3 Cover Supervision, HLTA or equivalentGCSE English & Maths (Grade 4/C or above)Experience supervising children or young people in an educational settingUnderstanding of learning strategies and behaviour managementConfidence, initiative and a genuine desire to support young people What’s in it for you?
