As Removals Warehouse Operative , a typical day will involve providing an efficient and effective warehouse services as well as packing and handling customers household/ personal possessions. Removals FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative responsibilities include: To assist in undertaking removals within the UK, including packing, loading, unloading and unpacking.To provide and maintain a delivery service which meets the company's standards (training provided).To complete removals to the requirements of the company, as per their training manual.To be presentable at all times whilst in the employment of the company in the uniform provided.To assist at all times in undertaking deliveries and collections.To ensure compliance of oneself with the Health and Safety at Work etc.  Act 1974.Ensure compliance of oneself and subordinates with defined Quality System Policy and Procedures pertinent to ISO 9002. As Removals Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of the warehouse facility and operating forklift equipment involved in providing an efficient and effective warehouse services in relation to their business of moving customers household/ personal possessions. Removals Forklift Driver duties include: Managing the checking in and out of goodsMoving and unloading storage containers (manual handing)Providing assistance to the HGV Drivers and Porters in the moving and handling of customer goods when requiredOperating the forklift and physically lifting (aided and unaided) onto vehicles or into locationCompleting the necessary paperworkUndertake forklift safety checks and report any defects.Following H&S Guidelines and carrying out Banks-person duties when requiredUndertake regular training as required We're keen to speak to experienced forklift drivers with who hold valid Reach and Counterbalance licences as well as the warehouse and problem solving skills this position demands.  This position would suit forklift drivers who have held a similar position for at least one year and who are looking for a new challenge within the removals industry.
