PDI TECHNICIAN - Monday to Friday Only - No Weekends Exciting new Job for a Fast Moving, Progressive Group due to expansion we are looking for a few PDI / Sales Preparation Vehicle Technicians to keep up with demand within their sales department getting cars ready for resale. The skill range can be level 2 or level 3 so Semi-Skilled or Qualified Technician who wants to learn more or an established Qualified Technician wanting to work in our client's world-class, well-equipped and clean workshop with superb facilities to make you feel at home. This is a crucial role in the success of the business, as such they offer a great package which sets them apart from other companies in their local area. The salary on offer is £33,600 for a Qualified or Experienced Level 2 Technician. On Top of this if you have an MOT licence you are paid £2,000 extra a year and they will keep your licence up to date by allowing you to do MOT too. However, this role is for a Vehicle Technician. In this role you will carry out repairs and routine maintenance on the motorcycles we purchase and retail, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, list components required to efficiently repair to a road worthy condition. To ensure workshop cleanliness standards are always met, all Health and Safety policies will be adhered too and SBF standards are maintained through the entire motorcycle journey.What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day:Conduct PDI checks, remedial work, and comprehensive vehicle preparation to meet SuperBike Factory retail standardsComplete repairs, servicing, and maintenance on motorcycles for internal and external customers, meeting efficiency and accuracy targetsProvide thorough vehicle evaluations and present findings to customers via report, video, or in personAdhere to company repair standards, Health & Safety guidelines, and workshop proceduresPerform road-testing assessments on motorcycles, licence permittingMaintain clean, organised workstations in line with 5S principles and company housekeeping standardsUndertake ongoing training and development in line with market updates and new product launchesWhat We’re Looking For:Essential:GCSE English & Maths at Grade C or Grade 4 and above or equivalentProven experience as a Workshop Technician or Motorbike MechanicProficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.Desirable: Full or restricted motorcycle licence, motor vehicle or engineering qualifications, and dealer-specific certifications.
