Seeking a Project Payroll (Dayforce) specialist to come in and assist with a wider company (Retail) payroll transformation journey. This is a 6-month, rolling, remote specialist role! Client DetailsOur ClientLarge national presenceOver 10,000+ across UK and IrelandMain hubs in major cities including London and Reading, BerkshireLarge, close-knit supportive payroll team (mixture of BAU and project work)Multiple award winning organisationDescriptionProject Payroll (Dayforce)Payroll ReportingDevelop, validate, and maintain payroll reports within Dayforce.Analyse payroll data for accuracy, compliance, and trend insights.Support audit requirements by producing timely and accurate payroll outputs.Parallel RunningExecute and compare Dayforce parallel payroll runs against legacy system outputs.Identify discrepancies, analyse variances, and support resolution of issues.Document findings and ensure payroll accuracy prior to go-live.System UploadsPrepare and validate bulk data uploads into Dayforce (employee data, pay components, timesheets, etc.).Ensure data integrity by performing pre- and post-upload quality checks.Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot upload errors or formatting issues.ProfileProject Payroll (Dayforce)Immediately available or on short notice Payroll discrepancy spotting exposureExperience with parallel runs, uploads and managing multiple work-streams Strong communicator, organised and deadline driven Respond well to change and project requirementsWork well with multiple departments - HR, Finance and the wider teamHappy for an interim contract (minimum 6 months) Dayforce payroll exposure is ESSENTIAL Strong proficiency in bulk data prep (Excel, CSV's etc.)Job OfferProject Payroll (Dayforce) Competitive day rate - Pay + Holiday Rolling 6-month contract (start date ASAP) Remote workingBase: Home but office option in Reading25 days holiday + Bank Holidays Flexible working hours (early starts and early finishes, if needed)
