Payrolller – 6 Month Fixed Term ContractCentral London | Hybrid Working (3 days office-based) Sheridan Maine are working with a growing organisation based in Central London who are looking to appoint a Payroll Officer on a 6-month fixed term contract. This is a great opportunity to join a busy finance team within a supportive and fast-paced environment, offering hybrid working with three days in the office each week.Key responsibilities in this Payroller position:Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll data across multiple payrollsSupport the collation and validation of payroll information from internal teamsEnsure accurate processing of starters and leavers, including relevant adjustments and documentationSupport payroll approvals and ensure all required sign-offs are obtainedAssist with the preparation of payroll journals and reconciliationsSupport pension administration and monthly submissions to providersMaintain timesheet data and support payroll inputs and updatesRespond to payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders in a timely mannerMaintain accurate and confidential payroll records, both electronic and paper-basedSupport compliance with statutory payroll requirements and reporting obligationsAssist with payroll reporting for finance and HR as requiredCarry out additional duties as required to support the payroll and finance functionSkills and experience required of the successful Payroller:Previous experience in a payroll role (ideally 2–3 years)Strong attention to detail and accuracyGood understanding of payroll processes and basic UK payroll legislationConfident using Microsoft Excel and other Office applicationsThis is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional looking to develop their experience within a supportive and evolving organisation.
