Payroll Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage the payroll function on a 12-month FTC. You will ensure will accurate and timely processing across all employees while maintaining compliance with statutory requirements and company policies. This role is ideal for someone who is keen on driving process improvements and maintaining high-quality service in collaboration with HR, Finance, and external providers.Day to Day of the Role:Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees across the UK and Europe.Lead payroll transformation projects, including system upgrades, automation, and process redesign.Ensure accurate payroll records and reports, including P45’s, P60’s, P11D’s, and gender pay gap reporting.Support audits and enforce robust internal controls.Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including HMRC, pensions, NI, and internal policies.Oversee benefits administration, including pensions, healthcare, share schemes, and executive compensation.Provide an efficient query service to employees regarding payroll issues.Supervise and develop the payroll team.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate data flow and reporting.Produce detailed management reports and perform analyses to assist in decision-making.Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all aspects of payroll operations.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business, Economics, or a related field is desirable.CIPP qualification or equivalent.Significant experience with Sage 50 Payroll software.Extensive experience in processing monthly UK payroll and benefits administration, with European payroll experience highly desirable.In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations including HMRC, SSP, SMP, PAYE, RTI, and pension processing.Strong understanding of Employment Law and tax regulations.High accuracy and excellent attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.You must be on a notice period for 4 weeks or less and be happy with full-time office working Benefits:They offer a fantastic benefits package
