Finance Business PartnerLocation: Derbyshire(Hybrid - 3 days office)Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + c.12% bonusType: Permanent Macildowie is working with a large, well-established business to recruit a Finance Business Partner into a key commercial role. This position sits within a sizeable UK finance function and offers strong exposure to senior commercial stakeholders and strategic decision-making. The business has recently strengthened its senior finance leadership team and continues to invest in its commercial finance capability, creating an opportunity for an experienced finance professional to step into a visible, influential role. The Role As Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with senior commercial leaders, providing insight, challenge and robust financial decision support across pricing, profitability and performance. Key responsibilities include: Acting as a trusted finance partner to senior commercial and operational stakeholdersProviding insight and commentary on commercial performance, margins and profitabilitySupporting pricing strategies, tenders and commercial negotiationsEnsuring promotional activity, discounts and commercial costs are accurately reflected in financial reportingLeading and supporting financial planning cycles (3YP, Budget and Forecast)Influencing volume and profit forecasts through close collaboration with Sales and Marketing teamsSupporting month-end processes, management accounts and balance sheet reviewsInvolvement in projects, audits and wider commercial initiatives as required This role requires someone comfortable operating at pace and constructively challenging stakeholders. About You You will be: Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)An experienced Commercial Finance Business PartnerConfident operating in FMCG or manufacturing environmentsCommercially astute, with experience supporting pricing, tenders or complex commercial decisionsA credible, engaging individual with the gravitas to influence senior leadersComfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery Experience in food & drink FMCG is advantageous, though strong manufacturing backgrounds will also be considered.
