Description Draft, update and maintain monthly management reporting packs.Partner with stakeholders across multiple departments to explain variances and support decision-making.Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and presentations for senior finance leadership.Support the annual budgeting process, including reviewing submissions and leading stakeholder discussions.Consolidate UK and international budget data and assist with commentary.Contribute to ERP system implementation by helping shape coding structures and validating reporting outputs.Test journals and system processes to ensure accuracy and compliance during the transition.Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, journals, and variance analysis.Produce consolidated group management accounts and ensure accurate, timely reporting. Your new roleIn your new role as Management Accountant, you will report into the MD and be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts. You will review product and project costs, track engineering project performance, work closely with engineering and production teams to analyse efficiency, maintain strong internal controls, and support audits. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful for this role, you will have experience of Sage accounts and be experienced in preparing monthly management accounts. You will have experience in budget and cash flow reporting alongside proficient use of Excel. You will also need to have a partial qualification in either CIMA or ACCA, or be AAT qualified. What you'll get in returnIn return for this, you will be offered a full-time salary of £20.56 - £22.32 per hour. The role is initially for 9 months and maybe extended dependant on performance and business needs. You will work as part of an experienced finance team who pride themselves on providing first-class service to the business and their customers.
