We also welcome applications from external candidates who are eager to grow their career with us.Here in Boston we employ around 400 colleagues and produce ready to eat salads, prepared vegetables and snacks for many of the major retailers such as Coop, Boots, Greggs, Costco, Spar and BOL.What you'll be doingShift: Nights, 3s & 2s (18:00 - 06:00)As Hygiene Supervisor to coordinate the hygiene teams to safely deliver hygiene procedures which ensure that the manufacturing facility meets regulatory standards and customers' expectations for hygiene, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Micro control.Identify hygiene requirements by monitoring changes in the production environment, developing and refining the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and master cleaning schedule, to ensure safe food is delivered in compliance with regulatory, customer codes and identified best practiceConsult with the hygiene team leader to ensure that all team members have the skills and understanding necessary to successfully complete their role and have training plans which support their ongoing developmentConduct hygiene audits, completing in-depth micro trend investigation as necessary, to highlight the need for process and scheduling improvement and more effective communicationPlan and coordinate the hygiene aspects of external audits, and sign off of associated corrective actions, to maintain authorisation from regulators and customerPlan and deliver hygiene elements of capex/ maintenance programmes to ensure that all equipment is installed with appropriate hygiene SOPs and is maintained to agreed levels of operational integrityCreate business plans, authorise tendering activity and day to day spend for all hygiene team related matters, assuring consultation with Purchasing, to ensure adequate supply of resources within agreed budgetary parametersComplete risk assessment against hygiene standard and monitor delivery against operating procedure to ensure that all hygiene activities are fit for purpose and completed in a safe mannerEnsure that a safe working environment exists for colleagues and that as a minimum the department meets the standards set in the safety health and environment policyWhat we're looking forWe're not all the same at Greencore and our differences help us to make every day taste better for all our stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor with strong highways and streetworks experience to join a well-established team delivering high-quality infrastructure upgrades.Your new roleYou will take responsibility for day-to-day supervision of site activities across public realm, drainage, streetworks and road construction packages.
