We are seeking a Payment Operations Manager to oversee and optimise payment processes for our client. This role will sit between treasury and Accounts Payable, taking responsibility for reviewing and releasing the Group's payments. Client Details The company is a reputable, well-respected organisation within the Infrastructure space. Operating across Europe, they're committed to delivering exceptional services while fostering a professional and collaborative work environment Description This position acts as a key link between Accounts Payable and Treasury.The primary responsibility is to ensure that the Group's payments-90% of which are automated-are processed accurately, while serving as the main point of contact for troubleshooting any issues.The role involves close collaboration with Treasury to determine the weekly payment run size and ensure bank accounts are sufficiently funded.Maintain a strong control environment and continuously review processes to enhance automation, improve efficiency, reduce errors, and ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures.Regularly review direct debit and credit card payments to confirm they are correctly recorded in Oracle and remain valid.Support Treasury in implementing and documenting internal governance, including controls, process notes, and policies.Jointly manage the Treasury mailbox with the Treasury team.Undertake ad hoc tasks as required.
