Operations Director
3 Point Recruitment are exclusively hiring an Operations Director for an excellent, rapidly growing & ambitious business who's Head Office is based in Birmingham. You're main base will be from here but you will travel across the various UK sites, attending those already trading and others due to open there doors in 2026. This role offers a salary between £60-80k depending on experience, a company car / car allowance & £bonus based on both personal & company performance. This role represents a senior leadership opportunity within a privately owned, multisite UK organisation undergoing sustained growth and operational expansion. The Operations Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a scalable operational framework, supporting both existing locations and future site openings. Working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, the role will have accountability for national operational performance, logistics, compliance, systems and cost control. Duties Will IncludeProvide strategic leadership across all operational functions spanning head office, distribution and multiple UK locationsDefine and deliver an operational strategy aligned with growth, efficiency and profitability objectivesAct as a core member of the senior leadership team, contributing to business planning and long-term directionMaintain oversight of multi-site operational performance, ensuring consistency, standards and governanceLead national logistics and distribution activities, optimising service levels, cost efficiency and delivery performanceOversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including inbound, outbound and reverse processesSupport the planning and execution of new site openings, ensuring operational readiness and complianceOversee facilities management, refurbishments and ongoing maintenance across the estateEnsure full compliance with health & safety legislation, operational regulations and internal controlsDevelop and embed operational policies, procedures and audit frameworksProvide executive sponsorship of core operational systems, ensuring scalability, reliability and data accuracyPartner with technology and external service providers to drive automation, reporting and process improvementMaintain ownership of operational budgets, driving cost-to-serve optimisation and margin protectionLead supplier and contract management across logistics, facilities and operational servicesIdentify and mitigate operational risk across all sites and functionsBuild, lead and develop a capable operational leadership structureMaintain strong cross-functional relationships with commercial, finance and technology stakeholdersTravel regularly across UK locations to support operational performance and change initiativesBenefitsA basic salary of between £60-80k depending on experience (potentially negotiable depending on experience)A £bonus based on individual & company performanceA company car / car allowanceThe chance to build & develop a team around you as the business growsForm part of the Senior Leadership Team & have a real, heard voice within the businessInterviews: will take place asap but the business are happy to wait for a 2-3 month notice period to secure the right candidate.
