Why You’ll Love This Role As a Service Coordinator, you’ll be the heartbeat of the service department, the person who keeps engineers where they need to be, ensures clients receive fast support, and makes operations run like clockwork. You’ll work closely with the Service Desk Manager, engineering team, project staff and support functions, playing a key role in delivering exceptional customer service. What You’ll Be Doing Scheduling & Coordination Managing the engineer diary — scheduling call-outs, service visits and PPMs.Working with operational leads and project teams to plan workloads effectively.Understanding individual client SLAs to ensure timely and compliant delivery.Organising permits, site access, equipment and hire requirements. Job Administration Setting up jobs on the job management system and coordinating stock requirements.Processing completed service sheets and updating job notes accurately.Booking revisits and passing completed work to accounts for invoicing.Liaising with subcontractors to ensure SLA compliance and punctual delivery. Customer & Internal Support Requesting purchase orders and keeping clients updated on job progress.Highlighting any operational concerns to the Service Desk Manager.Supporting stock, accounts and project staff to ensure smooth workflow across departments. Additional Responsibilities Supporting senior management with general administrative tasks as required. What You Bring A love for organisation and keeping multiple tasks on track.Confident communication skills and the ability to work across different teams.Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.Experience in coordination, scheduling or service administration (experience within engineering, field service, fire/security or facilities is a bonus).Familiarity with job management systems (experience with BigChange advantageous but not essential).Ready to Take the Next Step?
