Key Responsibilities Complete statutory occupational therapy assessments for young people aged 16+ as part of the EHCNA process.Deliver timely, detailed, and measurable EHCP recommendations with a focus on functional skills, participation, and independence.Work collaboratively with colleges, families, BCIT, SEN Assessment Teams, and other multidisciplinary colleagues.Contribute to annual reviews where appropriate, offering professional insight into functional needs and reasonable adjustments.Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation and uphold all safeguarding requirements. Requirements BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy.HCPC registration (essential).Minimum 2 years' post-qualification OT experience, ideally including work with adolescents or young adults with SEND.Experience assessing functional, sensory, and environmental needs within education settings.Strong skills in assessment, clinical reasoning, report writing, and translating findings into practical EHCP outcomes.Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
