Our client will provide you with the necessary support and guidance to further your career within the underwriting market, developing your authority and profile within the industry.Key Duties:Develop a strong understanding of company core motor insurance productsEstablish positive working relations with Brokers, identify and help to manage performance, audit findings, and general practices of their Broker panel.Review and provide feedback on Underwriting guidelines and acceptance criteria.Handle enquiries from Broker partners, provide guidance on general risk acceptance, bespoke quotes, and renewals.Analyse performance of schemes, brokers and product segments.Assist with the development of colleagues within the team.Work with the Fraud Team to identify any fraud issues.Skills & Experience Required: Extensive Motor Underwriting experience, with a strong understanding and knowledge of personal lines productsStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build successful, mutually beneficial relationships. Supporting the head of Underwriting, this role is writing risk across the newly developed underwriting platform. this position is on a hybrid model centered around Richmond.The successful candidate will be:Responding to email referrals & manage internal and external queries.
