Wiltshire, SN3 (Hybrid working available)Salary: Up to £48,000 per annumHours: Full?timeFlexible working: Hybrid / remote options available, with occasional international travelWe are recruiting for a Regulatory Officer to support compliance activities within a regulated chemical manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are manufactured, tested and distributed in line with UK, EU and international regulations.The position offers flexibility to suit the successful candidate, including hybrid or remote working arrangements, with occasional visits to an overseas manufacturing facility.The RoleReporting to a senior technical leader, you will act as a key link between internal teams, external partners and regulatory authorities. You will help identify, manage and mitigate regulatory risk, ensuring ongoing compliance with legal, customer and internal requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for finished products and intermediatesManage raw material SDS recordsCreate and maintain CLP/GHS and transport hazard labelsSupport UK & EU REACH compliance, including substance calculations, volume tracking and liaison with Only RepresentativesConduct restricted substance checks against regulatory and customer requirementsAssess raw materials and assign internal and commodity codesComplete IMDS calculations and data entry (Automotive Substances of Concern / End?of?Life Vehicle Regulations)Carry out VOC calculationsMaintain and manage regulatory databases (Excel?based)Monitor national and international regulatory changes and emerging legislationManage and support regulatory inspectionsReview company practices and advise on necessary system or process changesLiaise directly with regulatory authorities as requiredSkills & Experience RequiredExperience working in a regulatory or compliance role within chemicals, coatings or manufacturing environmentsStrong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including REACH, GHS/CLP and relevant environmental and safety legislationAbility to interpret complex scientific and legal informationExcellent analytical, problem?solving and organisational skillsStrong communication skills, with confidence engaging internal stakeholders and external authoritiesExperience supporting or preparing for regulatory audits and inspectionsProficient in Excel and documentation managementQualifications (Desirable)Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or a related disciplineAdditional regulatory or compliance qualifications are beneficialCertifications such as ISO 9001, RAPS RAC, or HACCP are advantageous but not essentialWhat’s on OfferSalary up to £48,000 per annumFlexible and hybrid working arrangementsExposure to international regulatory activityA role with genuine impact on compliance, safety and product integrityIf you would like to apply for the role of Regulatory Compliance Officer then please email your CVClosing date is 7.6.2026 Please note this could change subject to suitable applications.Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are acting as an employment agency on behalf of its client.By applying for the above position and providing your personal data to us you understand that your data will be processed in line with our Privacy Policy.
