Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator (Brake Press)Location: DartfordJob Type: PermanentSalary/Rate: Up to £40,000 Overview: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator with strong Brake Press experience to join a well-established engineering company based in Dartford. This is a hands-on workshop role working with a variety of materials to produce high-quality fabricated components to tight tolerances.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate Brake Press machinery (Amada/Bystronic/Trumpf or similar)Bend, form and shape sheet metal to engineering drawingsRead and interpret technical drawings and specificationsWork with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminiumCarry out quality checks to ensure accuracy and tolerances are metAssist with general fabrication duties when requiredMaintain a safe and organised working environmentRequirements:Proven experience as a Sheet Metal FabricatorStrong Brake Press operating and setting experienceAbility to read and understand engineering drawingsExperience working to tight tolerancesGood attention to detail and quality standardsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
