Job Vacancy: Learning Mentor Location: Lambeth, LondonContract Type: Full-Time, 37 hours per week | Term-Time OnlySalary: £22,500 to £24,000 The Role As a Learning Mentor, you will play an integral part in helping to remove barriers to learning and support students with autism to flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. You will work closely with the teaching team to provide one-to-one and small group support, ensuring that every student receives the tailored help they need to succeed. Wider School Engagement: Participate in staff and team meetings, contributing ideas and insights for school improvement.Support the delivery of extracurricular activities, such as breakfast clubs, after-school clubs, and lunchtime activities.Collaborate with other professionals and parents to ensure a holistic approach to each student's development. Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Minimum of 3 GCSEs (A*-C), or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.A relevant qualification at NVQ Level 2 or above, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in a support or caring role (paid or voluntary).Basic understanding of autism and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting individuals with autism.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to engage effectively with a diverse group of people.
