This role focuses on planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will work across a varied portfolio, ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules across domestic and commercial sitesRespond to breakdowns and perform effective fault diagnosis and repairsConduct routine servicing of mechanical systems including heating, pipework, pumps, and associated equipmentWork on gas appliances and systems where qualifiedPerform root cause analysis to reduce repeat issuesMaintain accurate records using a CAFM or job management systemEnsure all work is completed in compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standardsLiaise with customers, tenants, and internal teams in a professional mannerSupport installation and commissioning of new systems and upgrades Requirements NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentProven experience in maintenance within domestic and commercial environmentsStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Full UK driving licence (essential Desirable Skills & Experience Gas qualifications (desirable)Experience working on boilers, heating systems, and gas appliancesBasic electrical knowledge (multi-skilled advantage)Experience using CAFM or mobile job systemsPlumbing or pipefitting experience What We Offer Competitive salary + overtime opportunitiesPension schemeOngoing training and developmentSubsidised FoodGym About Us As part of Compass you'll help to feed people, fuel progress and forge connections in around 6,000 venues.
