Title: Materials Demand PlannerLocation: BradfordSalary: £38,000 Contract: PermanentConfidential Opportunity A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Materials Demand Planner to join a global manufacturing organisation based in Bradford. This is a key role within the logistics function, responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of components in line with production requirements and customer demand. You’ll take ownership of end-to-end supplier planning, drive material availability, and work cross-functionally to support operational excellence within a world-class engineering environment. Key Responsibilities: Proactively manage supplier planning and material processes in line with production schedules and customer needs.Act as the main point of contact for supplier communication, resolving delivery and performance issues promptly.Monitor and report on supplier performance through weekly KPIs and inventory metrics.Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Operational Planning, and Production to identify and resolve material bottlenecks.Maintain supplier and material data within SAP, ensuring system accuracy and EDI compliance.Support new product introduction (NPI) projects by aligning supplier schedules with project timelines.Present KPI and project updates to management on a regular basis.
